Examination Overview

Six Sigma Black Belts certification has been designed which follows the DMAIC problem solving strategy which is known as Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, and Control (DMAIC)

This examination consist of 150 multiple choice questions and it is a four hour exam. It is offered in English medium and it is conducted twice a year, which are in March and October. It is an open book exam and reference materials are provided to the applicants. After qualifying the written profiency exam the individuals must do some projects and show what they have learned based on the training. The individuals for Six Sigma Black Belt must do two projects.

Validity of certification

The Six Sigma Black Belt is valid for five years and individuals need to complete the course for CLSSBB or retake the exam. Renewing should be done for keeping your credentials in place and retaining the professional stature
